One-on-one

Individual Therapy

This is the service most people start with. It's just you and a therapist, working through whatever brought you in — no partner, no group, no agenda but yours.

Who ends up here

Some people come in with a clear reason — a breakup, a diagnosis, a specific habit they've decided to change. Others just have a low-grade sense that something's off and can't quite name it yet. Both are fine reasons to book a first session. You don't need a crisis to justify showing up.

What actually happens in a session

The first meeting is mostly us listening and asking questions — what's going on, what you've already tried, what you want out of this. After that, sessions settle into a rhythm, usually weekly to start. We lean on approaches with real evidence behind them (cognitive-behavioral work, person-centred methods), but which one we use, and how much structure versus open conversation you get, depends on you specifically.

What to expect

One-on-one sessions, nothing recorded
Evening slots, since most people can't do 2pm on a Tuesday
A plan we revisit instead of setting once and forgetting
Room to change pace or focus without a big conversation about it
